About
Deodoro Cellars is a small-scale winery in Paso Robles founded in 2004 by Bob Fuller and Steve Haskins after rekindling a friendship. They produce limited quantities of wines from a couple barrels each, lavishing care and attention for uncommon personality and easy-on-the-pocket options. Current releases include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, blends, and other varietals from 2011-2014 vintages.

What They Make
2011 Cabernet Sauvignon
Leather and coffee overlay dark ripe fruit and black currant. Soft tannic structure, food-friendly acidity. A lovely, long finish. All new Hungarian/American oak.
2012 Pantheon
Blend of Zin, Syrah and Grenache. Plenty of fruit with great front-to-back palate intensity. Sold Out.
2012 Nepenthe
Blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc and Petite Sirah. Lovely ripe fruit layered with notes of leather, unlit tobacco and savory grilled meats. Tannic presence adds grip.
2012 Petite Sirah
Dense color without aggressive tannins. Blueberry, plum, light pepper and hints of tar. Rich and assertive. Sold Out.
2013 Pinot Noir
Fresh, bright notes of cranberry, pomegranate, cherry and torn leaf bramble. Food-friendly acidity. New French oak at 33%.
2013 Chardonnay
Free of buttery aromas (no malo-lactic). Barrel fermented in new oak, aged 16 months in 50% new French oak. Pineapple, wood resin, toasted marshmallow, caramel finish. Sold Out.
2013 Euphoria
Blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia Bianca and Viognier. Damp river stone minerality with lively citrus and floral highlights. No oak. Sold Out.
2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
From Cerro Prieto vineyard. Nose of smoke, vanilla, clove, cherry, toffee and leather. Densely colored with more tannic backbone. 100% new American and Hungarian oak.
2014 Pinot Noir
Powerhouse revealing Paso ripeness. Dusty brown baking spices, torn-leaf pungency, maraschino cherry, substantial oak tannin, plush mouthfeel. 100% new French oak.
