Hossfeld Vineyards is a family-owned and operated extreme hillside vineyard in the rocky hills of eastern Napa Valley, nestled at the base of Soda Canyon between Stag's Leap and Atlas Peak AVAs. At 1,000 feet elevation with volcanic soils rich in rhyolite and andesite, it produces terroir-driven wines of intensity, richness, and seductive complexity including Coliseum Block Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Merlot, and Red Blend. All grapegrowing and winemaking is done by Lucia Hossfeld and Chad McComber, with wines available by allocation via mailing list.
