Viano Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery established in 1920 on a vineyard planted in 1888 in Martinez, CA, now in its 4th and 5th generations. They grow premium wine grapes including Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, French Columbard, Muscat Canelli, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay, Petite Sirah, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel on hillsides with ideal soil and climate from Carquinez Straits breezes. Using natural practices, traditional winemaking with natural yeast, and oak aging, they produce handcrafted wines reminiscent of their Piedmont, Italy roots.
